To help distinguish Encore Avenue's three channels on the IPG (Interactive Program Guide), TV guide and online schedules, Encore Avenue channels are identified with the following call letters: EA1, EA2 and EAHD. Here's a breakdown of the kind of programming you can expect to see on each channel:
EA1: Focus on PG-rated films from the 70s, 80s, 90s and early 2000s
EA2: Focus on films from the 70s, 80s, 90s and early 2000s
EAHD: Focus on films from the 70s, 80s, 90s and early 2000s, in high definition

If you already subscribe to digital television services, please contact your provider and ask to have Encore Avenue added to your monthly subscription. This type of upgrade is very easy and can typically be done over the phone and activated within 48 hours.

If you currently do not have digital television, your provider will be able to assist you in upgrading to digital. Choose Schedule on our main navigation menu. The Schedule page displays programming information by date. You can choose a different date, filter by channel, or change your time zone. You can also search for specific titles on this page.

Alphabetical Listings:
Choose Movies A-Z on our main navigation menu. The information displayed contains a full alphabetical list of all movies currently playing on Encore Avenue. You can also search for specific titles on this page.

Printable Schedules:
Encore Avenue has a monthly printable schedule available in PDF format each month. Click on the "Print This Schedule" button on the schedule page.

As all computers differ in their configuration, features and equipment, it is difficult to trouble-shoot. However, you may want to try a couple of things:

Encore Avenue has been broadcasting a selection of movies in 5.1 since May 2002.  Dolby Digital 5.1 sound can be enjoyed when you have a digital receiver compatible to receive and transmit 5.1 audio levels that is connected to your home Dolby Digital 5.1 surround system. As Encore Avenue is distributed by various television providers, and each service provider offers unique equipment, you will need to contact your service provider for more details. On average Encore Avenue typically airs about 20 – 50 unique movies and series exclusives in 5.1 each month.

On average, a film will air about 15 times during the 15-18 month period it's contracted to Encore Avenue. A movie premiering on Encore Avenue is typically followed by a second run the same night on Encore Avenue. A film will air four to five more times in various time slots during its first 30 days on Encore Avenue and will repeat another four to five times, three or four months after that. The title then moves to a subsidiary position until its final showings when it airs a final four to five times.

As Encore Avenue is carried by many different television service providers, and in a variety of packages, an exact price can not be given.
